Education

I enrolled in the Deparment of Computer Science's PhD program in March 2000 and am now investigating Distributed Persistent Garbage Collection under Pathological Load (can you smell a thesis title in there?). My supervisors are Dr David S. Munro and Dr Katrina Falkner. Other members of the Jacaranda group are Francis Vaughan, Matthew Lowry, Diana Howard and Travis Olds.

I completed my Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Systems) with First Class Honours at the end of 1999, in the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, School of Engineering.

California!

I was in california in early 2001, working for Sun Labs on checkpointing Solaris processes.
