Research Interests
My major research
interests are to investigate the pragmatic mechanisms to support the
application of the Software Engineering (SE) theory and principles in software projects and to enhance the quality of the software products.
The hybrid approaches
and techniques from many disciplines, such as artificial intelligent,
knowledge engineering, decision making and decision support theory,
management science, mathematical theory, information technology and database
techniques are used in my research.
In summary, my research interests are listed below:
-
Requirements engineering
-
Automation of the software
test case generation and regression test case
managements from requirements engineering perspectives
-
Intelligent support for software
engineering, and process
engineering (Including knowledge-based
SE, ontology-based SE, and
intelligent SE tool)
-
Agile software
processes and context-aware
software engineering
-
Software reuse
(Objected-oriented framework
reuse)
-
Visualizing objects behavior and
relationships to facilitate OO program comprehension.
PS: I have got many queries about the
possibilities of graduate study
and research in my research group both at Master
and PhD level. It is not realistic for me to reply them
all, I apologize for not being very responsive to some queries. However, if
you have very good marks in your bachelor (for Master)
or honor degree or Master degree (for PhD)
with major in
software engineering or computer science, and have good
mathematical skill, please do not hesitate to contact
with me. I will reply within one week.
Following the links, you can
find the relevant information for
admission
and scholarships (for both domestic and
international students).
Visiting research fellows are welcomed if
you have good tracking record of research in the relevant area
given above.
The information about the early career researchers
Fellowships
for European is available from
