Make sure you contact the Chief Fire Warden so that appropriate training can be organised. This is extremely important! The Chief warden will try to organise some formal training for you, but can only do so if he knows that there is a new warden. Since this may take time, please make contact as soon as possible.
A quick summary of the duties and responsibilities is that: you are responsible for the safe evacuation of personnel from your response area and are responsible to the Chief & Deputy Chief Fire Wardens.
