Jesudas Mathew's Home Page

I am a PhD student working with the Distributed High Performance Computing Group (DHPC) in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Adelaide in South Australia.

My research is concerned with effective storage and management of data within a metacomputing environment. One aspect of this includes interoperability of databases, in particular using Java and it's JDBC (Java Database Connectivity) Package. Another aspect of the research involves the use of metadata (contextual data) associated with large data objects, such as images, in order to facilitate intelligent management of the data. I have also done some work involving performance measurements of ATM networks.
