	David Munro is an Associate Professor and Head of the School of Computer Science.


	David is currently the Associate Dean (IT) for the Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences


	His research interests are in distributed and persistent object systems and software architectures, specialising in the design and memory management of object stores. He is the project leader of the Jacaranda Research Group
