Home PageDarren Webb is a PhD student at the University of Adelaide in the Department of Computer Science. Under the supervision of Andrew Wendelborn, Darren is developing a programming model that incorporates a simple, formal model of computation and a reflective interface to enable efficient and effective development of software, particularly for Grid applications. The following photograph is of Darren in Singapore (May 1999), visiting Uni friends Derrick Tia and Wing Leong Ho while in Malaysia. Darren now works as a researcher in network security. However, the Thesis is close to completion (tentatively scheduled for submission in late 2006). This publication list of papers related to the Thesis submitted and accepted at various conferences Darren is keenly interested in the Java programming language. Much of his employment and research has centered around core Java technologies including Swing, RMI, JDBC, JNI, and Java3D. Darren is also interested in Object-Oriented design, including the use of the UML notation and the GoF's Design Patterns. These days, Darren immerses himself in various technologies for the real-time detection of network events and network forensics. The latest photo of Darren and Bronwyn's new house...
