About the Group

The mission of the ACROSS Research Group is to pursue long-term research in parallel and distributed computing, Web services, service-oriented computing, and high performance networks; to produce world-class research results and attract national competitive research grants; to train Hons and research students of high quality to suit national needs; and to foster interdisciplinary research and promote international collaborations. Our current research focuses on parallel algorithms, optical networks, Web caching, network topology discovery and management, network security and privacy preserving computation, intelligent Web service provisioning in pervasive environments, Web services composition, and peer-to-peer data sharing.
