All students are permitted to view their marked exam scripts in supervised
sessions. Where possible, viewing sessions, for the primary exams, will be
scheduled a short time prior to the supplementary exam period. A second viewing
session, for both the main and supplementary papers, will be scheduled
shortly after the supplementary exam period. The exact time of these viewing
sessions will be made public early in each teaching period.
In each session, students will be allowed to view only their own scripts for
the teaching period just past. To allow the sessions to run in reasonable time,
a time-limit for viewing the scripts may be imposed. The primary purpose
of the sessions is quality-control - students may request a remark and, if
there are reasonable grounds, a remark will take place. The overall mark
on the paper may rise or fall with a remark and the result of any remark is
final.
