Computer Science Learning Centre

The Computer Science Learning Centre, CSLC, provides help to any student studying first year computer science subjects. The learning centre is designed to assist first year students who need help in learning principles of computer science, have specific programming problems or who need advice on studying at University.

The CSLC provides a range of facilities, including a library of Java and general computer science textbooks, free tutoring by experienced third-year and postgraduate students and seminars by staff and students on advanced computer science topics. The CSLC also provides an alternative workspace with laptops, comfortable group work areas and desks for studying. Students can come in at any time during our opening hours to use these facilities - no appointment is necessary

Students studying second-year courses are also welcome to drop into our consulting sessions

Third and Fourth year students should use Computer Science Consulting Centre.
